Scheduling & Arrival

We provide a two-hour arrival window for each appointment. This allows our groomers to accommodate travel time and any variation in the length of previous appointments. We will send you a reminder before your appointment and notify you when we are on the way, so you are never left guessing.

Yes. We need access to a standard curbside parking spot near your home. Our vans are self-contained, but we do need to be parked within a reasonable distance from your front door to safely transfer your pet. Street parking, a driveway, or a nearby parking lot all work perfectly. Please let us know in advance if parking may be a challenge in your area.

Yes, a responsible adult should be available at home during the grooming appointment. This ensures we can ask any questions and return your pet to you promptly once the groom is complete. We also appreciate someone being reachable by phone throughout the appointment in case of any questions.

We understand schedules can change. If you are unable to be home, please contact us in advance so we can make arrangements. A trusted adult — such as a neighbor, family member, or pet sitter — can be available in your place to hand off and receive your pet. We do ask that someone reachable by phone is available throughout the appointment so we can reach you with any questions or updates.

The Grooming Process

Your groomer will greet you, confirm the service details, and take your pet into our mobile spa van. Inside, your pet is bathed, dried, brushed, trimmed (depending on the service), and finished with a nail trim, ear clean, and bandana or bow. The whole process typically takes one to two hours depending on your pet’s size and coat condition.

We have extensive experience grooming anxious, reactive, and nervous pets. Our one-on-one environment is actually ideal for these animals because there are no other pets present, no salon noise, and no waiting — just calm, focused attention. Our groomers are trained in gentle handling techniques and will always work at your pet’s pace. If a pet is too distressed to continue safely, we will communicate with you immediately.

Our vans are completely self-contained. Each van carries its own onboard fresh water supply and an onboard generator for power — so we never need to connect to your home’s electricity or water. We can park and groom anywhere without any hookup required on your part.

We ask that owners wait inside while grooming is in progress. Most pets actually groom better when their owner is not present — when they can see or smell you, they focus on getting to you rather than cooperating with the groomer. The compact space of the van also allows us to work safely and efficiently. Your pet is in excellent hands right outside your door the entire time.

We will always try to dematting your pet’s coat as humanely as possible. However, severe matting can cause your pet pain and skin irritation, so in cases where dematting is not possible without causing discomfort, we may recommend a shave-down for your pet’s health and safety. We will discuss this with you before proceeding. An additional fee may apply for dematting services.

Booking & Policies

Pricing is based on your pet’s breed, size, coat condition, temperament, and the service selected. A large double-coated breed requires more time and product than a small short-haired dog, and a matted or overgrown coat may need additional work. When you book, our team will confirm the exact price before the appointment begins — no surprises on the day.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as Zelle and cash. Payment is due at the time of service. If you have any questions about payment options, please reach out to us before your appointment and we will be happy to help.

We understand that life happens. We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Repeated no-shows may result in a deposit being required for future bookings. If we need to cancel on our end for any reason, we will notify you as early as possible and work to reschedule at your earliest convenience.

We groom dogs and cats of all breeds. The safety of both your pet and our groomers is our top priority. In rare cases, if a pet is displaying aggression that makes safe grooming impossible, we may need to discontinue the appointment. We will always discuss any concerns with you before and during the appointment.
